PHILADELPHIA, PA – March 15, 2002 – Yoh Group, one of the leading staffing services firms in the United States, today announced the expansion of its safety program with the appointment of Steven Young as Director of Safety.
The creation of this new position represents a significant investment in Yoh Group's continuing pursuit of safety excellence. Since 2000, Yoh Group employees have worked more than 23 million hours without a lost time accident.
Young will be responsible for the overall management of the Yoh Group's safety culture, including planning, directing and coordinating a comprehensive safety management and education program. His primary focus will be the safety and welfare of every Yoh employee and the minimization of at risk behaviors that can lead to accidents or injuries. Specific responsibilities will include assisting in the development of safety and injury prevention policies and programs, interfacing with customer safety managers, conducting safety training and continuing employee safety education and awareness efforts.

Previous to his new appointment, Young was Director of Operations for a Utility Services project with Baltimore Gas & Electric. The Yoh Company has provided Baltimore Gas & Electric with more than 1.5 million hours of service without a lost time incident, leading the customer to recognize the significant contribution Yoh has made to their overall safety culture.
